Wayne Baker is a licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Counseling. He graduated from St. Edward’s University and obtained both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the institution. From the corporate world of Dell, in which he experienced a successful career in international sales, Wayne is now in private practice where he is pursing his life-long dream of counseling. His speciality is working with high-conflict couples as well as working with adult individuals impacted by traumatic events.
Wayne has also coauthored a chapter of a graduate level textbook, Positive Couple Relationships: The evidence for Long-Lasting Relationship Satisfaction and Happiness. His involvement with his alma mater, St. Edward’s, continues as he is a guest lecturer in the Graduate School of Counseling.
Wayne and his wife, Amy, currently resides in Austin, Texas with their two thoroughly spoiled labradors. They also have two loving children, a daughter and a son.
